Draw the line Campaign

On Global Week of Action, the climate clock was ticking once more. Several climate activists are meeting at kituku market, Goma, to draw the line, reclaim, resist and demand end of fossil fuel funding, 52 oils blocs project in DRC, by calling global leaders, government to stop funding fossil fuel company ( trafigura, perenco, total energy) in DRC land.

This campaign lauchet by 350.org, Climate Action Network- Internatinal and Africans Rising. the main mesage was "kick of fossil fuel company", "polluter must paid", "Finance renewable energy not crisis".

With our banners and posters, we challenged, discussed, and raised awareness about the climate emergency. We reminded everyone that our communities are already suffering the consequences of climate change, without benefiting from it.

But we also showed that alternatives exist, such as eco-friendly briquettes, a simple and sustainable solution that protects our forests and supports our homes.

We believe that together, we can draw the line, say STOP to fossil fuels and YES to a sustainable future.

Our #DrawTheLine campaign continues; let's build climate justice, hand in hand.
